As you probably have experienced, our breath is interconnected with our emotions: When you feel a certain way, you breathe a certain way. For example, when you are nervous, you breathe very shallowly and fast. When you are relaxed, you tend to take deeper, slower breaths. Breathing is unique in that it is both unconscious and conscious. When we breathe unconsciously, unfortunately, we can reinforce unproductive behavior and emotions, which can be limiting and painful.
Through breathing consciously, on the other hand, unconscious patterns can be changed, and you can experience emotional, mental, and physical harmony and inner balance through the healing and cleansing effects of providing added oxygen to your body.
